Week 68 Weigh in

Not so good this week, a gain of 2lb. A little disappointed, as I didn't feel that I had strayed too far off course, but i can think of a few reasons why. It was one of those weeks last week where circumstances ment I just couldn't get to the gym. I do think that getting to the gym is crucial to my weight loss, and I need to try and get there 3 times a week. Last week I went once and i think that really shows.
Also at the weekend I had two cattle shows and that ment I didn't eat enough on Saturday and Sunday, which I also feel i need to eat plenty of free food to get my losses up.
This week I also have two shows but I am going to take more free food to eat so I don't stray on to snacks !!
This now means I have 27lbs to target, and I maybe wont get there for xmas, but I am still motivated and even a stone for xmas would be fab, and i still have a new dress to buy. Which i am going to leave buying till the middle of November. So its a case of how much can I loose and how much can I shape up at the gym before then. My motivation is still good and I still want to loose as much as possible.
On another plus side my back is much better this week, and i think having a few days off from the gym has helped this.

The Weekend

Where did the week go to this week. I have been very good food wise the last couple of days staying in line syn wise. My new best friend "Slimming World Chips" has definately helped, I had them again last night after the gym. Got the nack of getting them cooked a bit quicker, as i boiled them last night and put them in the fridge over night. Tonight I will be on plan for tea as it is allready made, I am having the minced beef wraps that were in Augusts magazine. I dont do many recepies out of the magazine but this has made me have a go and be more adventrous.

Allthough my back is still hurting a little from falling of my sisters horse last week, Spinning doen't aggravate it so that is a good thing, I was going to studio strength last night but it was cancelled. I suppose that is a good thing as my physio isn't back off her hols for another week and I have got four cattle shows in the next 8 days so i have got to keep going.
A busy weekend comming up which will be good for the diet cause I have planned tonight and tomorrow nights teas, and as long as I can stay away from the ice creams tomorrow and Sunday, i should have a loss for Monday. Looking forward to Sundays show, cause it has the trotting racing. Its at Hartington and we always enjoy this show. Dietwise i am going to take lots of fruit with me both days, and try and avoid anything too synful, as I do want a loss on Monday to make it four weeks in a row. Again 2lb will keep me on target. But i will be happy with a pound this week as i have had three good weeks of losses

Week 67 Weigh in

After staying on track all week Saturday was Pennistone show, managed to be good there by only succumbing to an ice cream. I ate my cob with no butter on it and not much else. Got home and just had fruit and a mullerlite yogurt. I didn't deliberately not have much food, it was just the way it worked out.
Sunday I went to a family christening which food wise was terrible. I ate fruit on the way there and was like a saint when I got home, so the damage limitation worked. I tried to make wise choices, but nearly everything was syns rather than free food.
But all that said all the good work in the week must have paid off as I lost 3½lbs. My total loss now is 8 stone 8lbs..... I am so chuffed. That keeps me on track for our Christmas target. I so want to do it, I have even said no to KFC before the pictures tonight, which for me is a big thing.

I have to try and be really good this week as where I fell off the horse last week I have a niggling back, and my lady that sorts it for me is on holiday, so not sure when she will be able to mend me. Hoping it will be this week cause i need to get back in to full exercise mode to keep this last 25lb comming off.
I am spinning tommorrow and Thursday, so that will hepl, and spinning doesn't seem to annoy it... thank god.
Never heard anything about Slimming World Woman of the year, which even a no would have been nice when it took 3 hours to fill in the entry form. I really took time putting loads of info in it. Oh well lesson learned.

Motivation is very high this week and i am still on track and the desire to to it is as strong as ever

How the week is going

Well diet wise I had a 10 syn day on tuesday, and finally cracked the Slimming World Chip lark. They were delicious. They key is to buy the right potatoes, and don't cut corners with the method. I used my grans chipper and they were crinkle cut. I am having another green day today to eat the rest of the potatoes tonight.

Spinning & Hula Hooping tonight, and going to stay below 10 syns today. And do the exercise as well. Yesterday I went out for a meal and managed to do it in 12 syns, which i was really pleased about, so this week is going to plan so far. The only blip over the weekend will be a christening on Sunday, but I am going to try so hard and not let one day ruin my plans for a Christmas Target.

My knees at the moment feel much better, not perfect by a long way, but I can definately feel an improvement, the main niggle I have at the moment, is a bit of inner thigh strain, that wasn't helped by the long fall of the big horse (nicknamed Lanky) on Sunday. Allthough I couldn't have done that bad a job riding him as my sister wants me to ride him again.

So I am hoping for a good green day on plan today with exercise, its all looking good so far.
The plan is
Brakfast Eggy Bread and fresh tomatoes Eaten and enjoyed
Mid morning Apple & Banana
Lunch Melon & Strawberries with 2 muller lites
Mid Afternoon Grapes
Tea Syn free chips with egg (frylight) and baked beans
I will then have 10 syns to have whatever comes along !!!!

Week 66 Weigh in

Another 2½lbs this week which I am over the moon with. To get to my Christmas target, i need to loose 2lb per week, Which is doable. I have 29lbs to go and as long as I get some of the way there for Christmas I will be happy. I have 2½lb to loose for my next award which I would really like to try and do this week. I am going to be very good this week with only one meal out and try and get as much exercisie in as possible.

Allthough nearly had a major setback on the exercise front on Sunday, when I came a cropper from my sisters horse. I went out the back door !!! He is nearly 18hands, and I haven't fell off a horse for over 3 years and it was a very long way to fall. It was mainly hurt pride, but I was a little winded and have got some inner thigh strain, but I managed to soldier on and go to Spinning & Studio Strength on Sunday night. And I will get back on again, but may not be quite as adventurous as jumping next time......

Its spinning and the gym today, and going to go on the rower and go for 9mins 13 or lower as that is my personal best. Must do some good weights on the pullovers, as I gould really feel those on my triceps last week for about three days afterwards !!! Claire that i go to the gym with calls me the Punnisher... I cant think why LOL

I have been very good so far today and want to stay that way for the rest of the day, I had a bit of a disaster at breakfast as my bread was mouldy so I had to throw itaway after it was cooked, cause although the slice I tried to use did not have any mould on it, tasted vile , so my lovely breakfast had to go in the bin. So then i had no time at all to prepare anything else, so I had a muller lite yogurt.

Only snag was I was having mullerlite and fruit for my lunch today. Its a good job they were on offer in Morrisons. And actually I don't feel that hungry... at the moment, that will be all the grapes I have ate !! Going to have some melon before I go to the gym, then I can have what I want for tea tonight, almost. Infact I know my tea is 6 syns cause it is a Quorn Lasange that some one at Slimming world made for me. So really looking forward to that and will be able to even have it with a slice of bread, as breakfast went so wrong !!!

Going to try and limit my syns this week to 10 per day except for tomorrow when I have a tea allready prepared for me that I don't know what it is.

Feel very motivated for the week ahead, and really really want to loose this 2½lbs. Have got a christening on Sunday which could Hamper me slightly, allthough I am going to offer to drive and that should help the acohol syns.

Its the Weekend

Going to the gym today to do spinning class and studio strength class. Been good syn wise this week have stayed away from chocolate and alcohol. I did have a naan bread last night, but only cause the low fat fish dish I had cooked myself was vile !! I was starving and had come back from the gym.
I sometimes do this and get get very disappointed with my cooking ability !!
But it will be ok tonight, as you cant go wrong with Pork Chops.

Gym planned for Sunday as well, may even try and do three classes on sunday, which should help for a loss on Monday.

My freind Beck is still on track as well and we are together this weekend, so hopefully we should manage to stay syn free, and keep each other motivated. I am hoping that I loose 2lb on monday, which will keep me on track for my Xmas target, and even if it is a little less I will still be happy, cause its still comming off.

Becks Weigh in & the Gym

My Xmas challenge partner lost another pound this week so on our 35lb for Chrismas challenge we are both level pegging at 4lb each. She is gutted she only lost a pound, but I said to her every pound is a good pound, and she is loosing every week, so she is much more consistant.

Worked really hard at the gym last night, and really pushed myself in spinning and then had a really hard session in the gym. Managed 9.16 on the rower, which was good to say i hadn't been on for a while. I am going to try and do this more to get under 9 mins. No exercise for me tonight as I have a meal out tonight, so going to try and stay syn free all day, and I am driving tonight so they will be no alcohol worries. I am not going to have a pudding, so just the starter and main course to think about.

Week 65 Weigh in

Did I do it ?

Yes I lost the 4½ lb I put on last week, and when they read out my weight loss last night it was back to 8 stone 2lbs. I am going to try so hard to never let it say 7 stone something again.

I am also now not obese according to my BMI I am now just overweight. I never thought I would be so happy to be overwight !!

My consultant Jane who has been off for a few week s with a back injury managed to make it last night, and it was really great to see her. She gave me my Woman of the Year award. Last night I filled in the 15 page entry form to enter the district finals. Not sure i will get very far in it though, cause I am still on my weight loss journey and still need to loose another 2 stone, and I haven't really got any exciting stories to tell. But I am entering it anyway so watch this space... I will keep you all posted. It would be nice to get a bit further in the competition, would give me a real achievement, allthough i am happy with what I have achieved so far.

After a nice curry last night, with a garlic and cheese naan bread, I am allready firmly back on track this morning with a large breakfast this morning of eggy bread and cherry tomatoes. Not sure about what to have for lunch today, but I am going to have steak salad for tea tonight after the gym.

The gym today is one spinning class then a good 1-1½ hours in the gym with a work mate (Claire). I haven't been on the rower for ages and want to see if i can still hit the 9.20 mark for 2000meters. Still not sure it that is any good, but when I started going it was around 10.45 so even i can see an improvement. Got to work hard tonight, as won't make the gym tomorrow night, and thursday can only do Hula Hooping.

Did I Stay on Track ?

I worked very hard and yes i think i could say success . I did Studio Strength & Spinning on Friday night and stuch to plan for my tea when I got home, of Lamb Chops.

Saturday was also a good day as very busy, cattle washing first thing, which must be a good calorie burner, cause washing the car is supposed to be so I will try and equate it like that LOL .

I then Had a bacon & egg sandwich for my lunch which was really nice and set me up for going to the gym later. Did my spinning class, and I do feel that my knee is getting stronger. Its not perfect but it is feeling that i can work harder on it.

Sunday was at a cattle show, so lots of activity, Walking round and a little bad food, cause i submitted to a tray of chips and mushy peas, and two hot donuts (without sugar) but was like a saint for the rest of the day, and went and did studio strength and spinning with my friend Beck, and worked like stink ! I think some of the motivation was the chips and donuts I had ate and not wanting them to ruin my weigh in tonight.

It is the Woman of the Year award to night at slimming world, and I so need to be back to 8 stone lost when they read it out. I know 7stone 12 is a great achievement, but the 8 stone just sounds so much more.

We are having a party night tonight, so I have made a syn free (original) quiche, which tastes yummy, and have brought some of the asda good for you prawn crackery things, just need to check how many syns they are, i think they are about 2 syns per pack.
