Arse into gear now

Its 15 weigh ins till Christmas, and I need to shift 2 stone.
I feel motivated, but have a lot of bad habits creaping back in. Focus is what i need. I am going to get meals planned this week and try to shift the 1st two pounds for monday.
Blogging is back on the agenda, cause it keeps me away from the vending machine at lunch time !!!
Motivation is what i need. Things are more settled on the love life front now, so there are no excuses there now except for the fact that he some times brings cookies home and he loves Ben & Jerry's. They used to be two of my favourite men along with Jack !!!! I have to be strong and resist them as much as I can.
This is a much stronger me, with hopefully lots more will power !!!!

Gym

Went to the gym las night, and did a lot of free weights, Chest and biceps, which felt really hard but good. I am enjoying the change, and it is good to train with someone.
Spinning tonight, then a take away, which I am going to try and make wise choices.
I was very good yesterday. and I stayed on plan and was under 10 syns yesterday.
That will give me a little extra for tonight, and i know that after tonight I will be on plan all weekend.

Week 112 WI

Well as promised I am back and writing things down again, and back on track with the diet and exercise.
Weigh in was no where near as bad as I thought. I put on 2lbs and and still at a total loss of 7stone 2lbs.
First mini target is to get back to 7stone 7lbs lost which I am going to try and do in the next couple of weeks, then onwards from there.
The gym is going well and I did a hard spinning class last night and will go again today, but it will be the gym as opposed to spinning.
Diet wise I am much better as I am eating healthier and staying relatively on par with syns allthough I am only on day two, but I do feel motivation is high.
I will do this and will get two stone off for xmas
21 weigh in's till xmas, scary i know but at two lb per week that could easily be 42lb which would put me at target, but alloing for a few slip ups along the way i can do 28 without too much stress. I really want to motivate myself to do this now.

Back Again.... Had a few weeks away at shows and off track with the gym and diet. But did go to the gym last night and do Aerobics Studio and Spinning. And its off to slimming world tonight for the weigh in. I am going to be back on track, no matter what stresses my personal life seems to be giving at the moment, i am not that far off track weight wise cause i still think i have lost well over 7 stone, but I will post after weigh in this week, and my classes are booked this week, with a trip to the gym every day from tuesday till sunday.
My new training at the gym was going well and I am still in shape, but need to do better !!!
I hope that my few readers bear with me, and still find some interest in my ramblings !!

Not quite As Planned

Well the new training partner didn't show for the gym , so I did double spin, but I am going in the gym on my own tonight. Any ideas of what to do ?
I want to do some free weights but that tends to be the male are of the gym, so when I venture down there I would like to look like I know what I am doing. I am quite strong and do quite a lot of weights in Studio Strength (like Body Pump) .
I need to do this so if the training partner ever decides to leave his ex girlfriend alone I can whoop his ass at the gym !!!! It is a little bit of motivation for me among all the shit i have put up with.
Onwards and upwards forom this morning, and on to 8½ stone marker again.
I can do it and I will do it !!!!

A Stressfull few weeks

A very stressfull few weeks for me and for the first time ever i have lost my appetitie. That was was the only upside of the whole stressful experience. I am not sure if all the stress is over, but i do have a feeling it may not.
But the good side is I am now back to 8stone lost, just need to stick at that.
Got a new training partner at the gym and after spinning tonight i am having my first gym session with the training partner. I know I will have to push myself to keep up but i think that will be a good thing, cause i need motivation to loose this last two stone.
I am still at slimming world every week and I am going to post more often, so if any one does actually read this I am back, and going to be thinner and fitter.

week 93 WI

A slight gain this week which was a little disappointing, but I have to get over my disappointment and move on and just hope that I can loose it next week.
My motivation is still really good, but I do have the odd treat too many.

Back on plan today, and its a green day, and lots of exercise. I have a busy schedule the next fwe days so I am going to prepare food in advance and try to not let it be the focus, more of something I have to do. If I am bust I do not tend to think of food as much. So in theory it should be a good few days !!!

Week 91 WI

Week 91......



Another 2lb off Yippee. I knew i deserved a loss last week, but I did feel it may have been a little more. Allthough I had lost 6lbs the week previous and 2½ the week before that.

I am now feeling like I have got back into the swing of it and would like to keep going this way for the next few weeks. I really must not let anything throw me off course food wise and I want to remain focused.



Circumstances have made it that I am not gyming tonight, but I am going to cook much healthier for tea and have a nice Green day tea of slimming world chips and mushy peas. I have some Rice pudding as well that I can also have and still keep my syns right down.

I have got back to loosing exactly 7½ stone (again) and now need to get back to that 8 stone mark. If i could do that before the end of March that would be fab, if not i will get there.



I also got slimmer of the week at group last night, and the nice thing was that was 2nd week running. It has been a very long while since that has been the case.



Motivation is still good and I am not wanting to eat the large ammounts of rubbish that I had been eating. Finally i am on the move.

So on plan today, meals planned for tommorrow, got to start to think about Thursday.

Did My Plans Come Off ??

Both diet and exercise this weekend have been top class. I so deserve a loss tonight and I hope I get one.
I did Spinning & Gym on Friday and had a go on the powerplate which was quite good.
Saturday did a long walk with the dog and then got my butt to the gym, and did the xtrainer & rower and some free weights, then a spinning class.

Tea was lovely I did slimming world chips and mushy peas with a small piece of cod, and the syn free rice pudding. How nice was that !

Sunday I became gym bunny extodinaire. I got up and took the dos out, and then went to do spinning and aerobics. Got home and took the dog for a proper long walk and then did another gym and power plate session and aerobics class, as I couldn't get to the studio strength class that I normally go to on a sunday.

Diet wise I have only gone over 15 syns once this week and that was on Monday which was treat night. So I am really hoping for a loss tonight. I haven't been this motivated for a long time, just need to hold on to it.

Finally

Finally I am back in the zone, well I have been all week and looking good for the weekend.

Last mondays weigh in was a good loss, but I still have over a stone to loose to get back to my pre xmas weight. On the real plus side I was slimmer of the week and would like to be it again this week, but that will be a case of wait and see. Realistically I have to loose 2lb to get back to having lost 7½ stone, so that is my mini target for this weekend.

I am not doing as many of the Extra Easy days as I was before, and going back to original and green days, and this seems to work so much better for me.
Gym wise I am getting fitter and my knee is not giving me as much pain as it used to even though i am still carrying and extra stone of mince pies !!!!
I have a really busy weekend so that could work one of two ways for the food plan, but with how I'm feeling at the moment it will be good. I will get back to a more regular posting, just in case any one actually reads this drivel and has the slightest interest in my progress.
Exercise planned over the next few days is spinning, aerobics, studio strength and a couple of hours in the gym on the x-trainer and rower and doing a few free weights.
We have one of those new Power Plates in the gym, but never used it before, may give that a go as well.... I will look it up on the wonderful internet, but in the meantime, any ideas what you do on it or links to pages about it ?

Exercise over the weekend

Lots .....

Did quite well with it, but could have done better.

Friday night did spinning and then studio strength, and worked hard in both.

Saturday went for a very brisk 1 hour walk. Had a bit of pain in lower back from a cow pulling me on saturday morning, so didn't make spinning as i wanted to rest it an make sure i could do my walk with the girls on the sunday morning.

Sunday did about 6-7 miles with the girls from the gym that are starting to train for the moon walk in May in London. It was very muddy, but loved every minute of it.
I then did Aerobics, Studio and spinning last night. I was very careful with the weights in studio as my back was still a little sore. It feels better when I am walking and fine at spinning, so as long as I am careful it should be ok.

Food wise quite good over the weekend, no alcohol except a small mug of gluvine whilst on the walk with the girls, but i have been under syns all three days. I am also trying to very steadily reduce my portion sizes, and i am now only having one slice of bread with my breakfast. I had a little sneeky weigh on my home scales and it was reporting a 2lb loss, which is a little disappointing with all the hard work I feel i have put in, but not getting to dispondant till I have had my official weigh in tonight. So for the moment its a case of fingers crossed and wait and see !!!!!!!

week 85 Weigh in

A satisfactory result due to have three meals out a loss of 1½lbs. That is 8½ lbs in three weeks, the disapponting thing is that i put 14lbs in 2 weeks over xmas !!

But at least it is comming off and I am feeling quite fit at the moment, allthough I have got to improve in the gym. I have got to get my times better on the rower. And get back to more cardio in the gym. I am going to try and do some extra in the gym on saturday.

Food wise this week I did have a meal out last night, but that is it now till next week, so i should be on for a loss this week. I would like to have a 2-3lb loss, cause I have lots of exercise planned between now and Sunday and I am going to work hard to achieve the results.
Spinning & Studio Strength later today so that should help as well and the same booked tomorrow.

I have been writing down all my food and exercise in a book and that is really helping, and also I have found out that my BMR is 1720, but i am going to try and find out a bit more about that. Isn't the internet a wonderful thing !!!

week 84 Weigh in

A great loss of 4lb. Really pleased that my hard work of last week paid off. I am gong to try and work harder this week cause i know that it will harder. I was Slimmer of the week this week, and it has been a long while since I have done that. I would like to get it again soon.

I did have a few more original days than i was going to have, but it has worked so I am going to keep up the good work. I have one meal out planned this week, and one night when I am not sure what will be happening food wise. But i know for sure both nights I wont be drinking, as I am going to drive both of them.
I am going to go for a walk every day this week at lunchtime as well, unless the weather is really bad, and that should help things along.
Fitness goals this week are more walking and improve rowing times and distance in the gym, whilst still doing other classes. I can see improvements with the weights in my studio strength classes.

The weekend

Well I did lots of exercise and i am back on track with my weights at studio strength. I have got to start increasing the walking, and get back in the gym more. I need to improve on the rower and xtrainer. But there is time to do that.

Food wise not too bad and I am expecting a loss at weigh in tonight, and i do deserve it this week. It feels good to be back in control, and even when I had an impromptu invite out for lunch yesterday, i knew it wasn't going to ruin my whole week. But also I had been for a walk in the morning and went to the gym last night, so hopefully that will have counteracted it.

I am trying to reduce my portion sizes a bit now, as a new aim for 2009. Because i love my food and still love it, i am going to try to scale things down a little and only eat when I am hungry... Apart from breakfast. I do have my big breakfast every day, and that helps me stick to plan for the rest of the day.
On the Slimming World new Extra Easy plan , I have been getting on ok with it but i do enjoy my healthy extras and have found myself reverting back to original, quite a few days last week. I think I am going to use extra easy every now and then rather than the norm, as I know i can loose weight very successfully on original.

Anyway i am looking forward to weigh in tonight, which is a good feeling, and looking forward to the gym tommorrow.

How the diet is going

Still going well been really good for over a week now, maintaining exercisie levels, and getting back into a bit of a zone.
I have been doing the Slimming World Extra Easy plan but the last couple of days I have gone back to original, but only cause it was easier.
Motivation is still high, and I am looking forward to getting through this week with all days on plan. Just need a good loss at the end of the week as a reward. I may have a little sneeky peek on the scales on friday morning just to see how things are going.

New Years Resolutions

My New Years Resolutions

There aren't many but at least if they are wrote down at another point in time I can see if I achieved them, which will be interesting in December.

Obviously number 1 is to loose the weight I put on before Christmas and over Christmas, and then another two stone. I am not ready to say how much i put on yet, but I am working very hard to get it off

2. Get fitter and try to run. I live in the countryside and would love to be able to do some running, down side to this is that i live on a great big hill

3. go to bed earlier. A silly one but after comming home from the gym and having a bath i then seem to spend too many hours in front of the tv catching up with the sky plus.

4. Get to work earlier, i have got in to a bad habbit of just getting to work on time, i used to be a real early bird, i have no problems getting up for show's, it seems harder for work.

5. get on top of my spare room, that is full of clutter, and clothes that no longer fit, that I have been going to list on Ebay

Week 84 Weigh In

Finally good news to report and i am back on track and feeling more in control.
A loss of 2½lbs which to say they was a new years eve and news day in the week, it was really good. I was trying the new Slimming world Extra Easy Plan, which works.
The new plan allows you to have meat and pasta/potatoes in the same day all free. It was a bit wierd but got me through new year sucessfully. My aim is to have a loss at every weigh in during January, that should help me get back on track.

This week i should have nothing at all to throw me off track, and there will be no alcohol drunk at all for the next few weeks. At least !!!! I have the gym planned most of the week, and i am going to start to vary things a lot more. I went on the rower on Saturday before spinning and I realised i need to actually go in the gym more to get some variety. I have booked in for aerobics, studio strength, spinning and the gym this week. I am even going to do more walking at the weekend and possibly walk up town a bit at lunchtimes.

I am not going to write about my final target till I am 10lb awayfrom it cause as soon as I set it last time, I started to fail. All the way along when i never set a target i kept loosing, so i amd just going to keep plodding away at it for the time being, and just want to get back in to a pattern of actually loosing weight. I do have a couple of mini targets in mind, one of which is a challenge with an online buddy I have on a Slimming World Forum, which is a race to 13 stone, which will take me a while but I will get there. Also I want to have lost weight for the start of the cattle showing season in May which is when the food and drink becomes more of an issue.

Anyway the gym later and an original day for me today as I have lots of Lamb to eat up and tonight i have the rest of it, so it seemed easier to go back to basics today. Also the original and green days are going to shift the weight off quicker, and I could do with a New year boost to shift some of the Christmas weight that is going to take a while to get rid of !!!!!!
Anyway Motivation is sky high now, and I hope going to last for a good long while.

Last weeks WI week 82

It was bad news but I went and found exactly where I was, and went away thinking I would not have a gain next week.
I managed to control New Year and make it 24hours off track, from 6pm till 6pm. After that i got back on track and didn't leave it till today the 5th to get back on track.
Weigh in tonight should be good, and one of my new years resolutions is to blog more often
